Friendship Club

​Mondays and Wednesdays - 10 am until 2 pm
Ages from 30's up
​Weekly fun activities - activities are offered to suit each person's own interests and ideas.  Art and craft projects, word games, carpet bowls, billiards, pool, singing, painting, gentle exercise, gardening, reading and crosswords are some examples, plus so much more is offered.
Morning tea (tea/coffee and snacks) and a delicious hot lunch is supplied.
Bus transport available.  Collect from your door and drop you back.  Servicing all nearby towns in the Waterline area.  
Monthly Outings - You'll be invited to go on monthly outings, attend picnics, BBQ's and visit tourist sights, gardens, cafes and restaurants.  Group sightseeing is a fun and safe way to see the sights with trained staff to assist as needed.  
Eligibility - Adults who are socially isolated.  You may have a disability or an ABI. All adults are welcome,  regardless of age, 

Plenty of bargains, bric a brac, clothing plus so much more.
The wonderful multi-roomed Hadden House Op Shop is one of the buildings situated on a half hectare community site and offers plenty of off-street parking. 
The Bass Valley Community Group Inc. is a not-for-profit association and we rely on donations, fundraising and the efforts of our volunteers to fund our day to day community activities.  
Volunteers - Would you like to be an Op Shop Volunteer?  We are always looking for new people to help with tasks including sorting goods as well as filling shelves, rack and displays and helping in the shop.  It's a great way to make local friends while providing a valuable service in our community.
If you would like to donate goods please bring in your items during shop hours.  If you have larger items or plan to unload outside normal office hours and require assistance, please contact us on 03 5678 2277 to ensure we have a volunteer on hand to assist.

Bass Hall for Hire

The Bass Hall is available to hire for functions, receptions, gatherings, events, exhibitions, meetings, readings, drama and music rehearsals or hall practice, lectures, lessons, classes, information nights and clubs, groups or other social activities requiring a common space.  
The Hall features a commercial kitchen.

Wish you had easy access to a local office?  Ever wanted to print an A3 poster and maybe laminate it?  How about turning that useful PDF file into a hard copy booklet with protective front and back covers?

Our office service may be just the thing you need and our staff are able to assist depending on your requirements.  A small charge is payable on the day when using our office equipment which then helps to cover the costs of operating and running our equipment to provide this great service.
